Located approximately 30 minutes drive from Berwick upon Tweed, and a hour away from Newcastle upon Tyne, is the Chatton Trout Fishery. The Chatton Trout Fishery is an impressive four acre fishing lake, set in a superb location, just outside the small and beautiful village of Chatton.
The Fishery is a well established family run enterprise, and provides excellent trout fly fishing in relaxing surroundings, offering breathaking views of the Cheviot Mountains in the distance.
The Chatton Trout Fishery is open every day, from 8.30am till dusk, and also boasts its own snack bar and tackle shop in their newly constructed log cabin.
The snack bar provides a selection of hot and cold drinks, bacon rolls and tasty soups for those winter days. The tackle shop sells a wide range of fishing equipment for all your fly fishing needs.
The fishery is popular with the locals and tourists alike, and has regular special offers and competitions like "Catch of the Month", among others.
There are two ticket options available. "Catch and Keep" can last for between two and eight hours and ranges from £10 to £25. "Catch and release" tickets can also be purchased for between two and eight hours, with the prices ranging from £8 to £19. Concessions are available for those over retirement age, and parent and child tickets.
